2* sqrt x - sqrt 2x + 1 = 1
2* sqrt x - (sqrt 2)*sqrt(x) + 1 = 1
2* sqrt x - (sqrt 2)*sqrt(x) = 0
sqrt(x)*(2-sqrt(2)) = 0

Can you finish?
 
My money is on
2*sqrt (x) - sqrt (2x + 1) = 1
2*sqrt x = 1 + sqrt (2x + 1)
4x=1+2sqrt(2x+1)+(2x+1)
2x-2= 2sqrt(2x+1)
x-1= sqrt(2x+1)
(x-1)^2=2x+1
Finish it but beware of an extra answer because of the squaring. Try them in the original equation.
