I have been stuck on this problem for a while and Any help would be most welcome,

I need to know what the geometric interpretation of the following (2x2) transformation matrix is:

[-1 1]
[ 1 1]

Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advanced

What help have you obtained from online sources (such as this or that article)? At what point did those explanations and examples stop making sense? How much background do you have in the topic? What have you tried? For instance, what curve(s) did you take and transform, using the above transformation matrix? What new curve(s) did you get? What did you conclude?

Please be specific. Thank you! ;)

I have studied Linear Algebra in my University, I have posted the complete question below however the only help I need is in the last part where I have to explain the geometric Interpretation now to my understanding geometrically its a weird combination of shear/rotation/expansion so that is the only part I need some help with
