Triangle with Angle,Side,Ratio known

Hello everybody,

After trying for many hours; I can't find a way to separate the unknown "d" value alone to one side of an equation.
It always "blends" into other values.


I would be grateful and amazed if anybody could show me a way out of this maze.

d2(1-z2) + 2db + (a2 + b2) = 0

The above is a quadratic equation - solve it using your favorite method.

But it can be solved quicker - using the original equation [(d+b)2 + (a2 - e2) = 0].
