Hii!! Can someone help with this assignment (see attachment)?x.JPG
It's in danish, but I've translated it to english:

The picture shows a vent cap on the roof of a building. The upper part of the vent cap is formed as two truncated cones. One truncated cone with the target is shown in Figure 4. The cone is made of a thin plate, and the expanded truncated cone is shown as the "gray" area of Figure 5.
The calculations disregarded the plate thickness.
a) determine the radius R
- Does it have something to do with finding the angles and then using maybe the sine perhaps?
b) determine the radius r, as shown in Figure 5.
- can't this be seen as a right triangle? I think I have to find the angles in order to find the side R, but I'm not sure how?
c) Determine the angle v, as shown in Figure 5.
d) Determine the area of the "gray" area.

I did try to do that though :/ I've tried to explain how I think some of the assignments are meant to be solved, but I still need a few hints.

Okay then - you need to first calculate the height(h) of the "untruncated" cone. Using similar
triangles you can show that h/15 = (h -20)/9 → calculate 'h' from that and you can easily calculate the angle (using Tan).
