whats 7x(9/3x13)-394=....... this stuff is hard will any one out there help me please???

Without knowing the value of x, there is no way to determine a numerical value for the posted expression.

Please reply with clarification. When you reply, please include an explanation of your notation. Specifically, does "3x13" mean "3x13" or something else? Does "9/3x13" mean "(9/3)x13" or "9/(3x13)" or something else?

Thank you.

Eliz.

I will assume that the "x" you have used is in fact a multiply sign....

7x(9/3x13)-394= ( I have to assume it is (9/3) x 13 and not 9/(3 x 13) )

7 x ( 9x 13) / 3 - 394 =

7 x ( 117) /3 - 394 =

7 x ( 39) - 394 =

273 - 394 =

-121

Next time, Horsey, show like this: 7*(9 / 3 * 13) - 394;
and if 9 is divided by (3 * 13), then like this: 7*(9 / (3 * 13)) - 394.
