Viral algebraic equation

Yes, because "no solution" is a solution. But of course, one could also say "no", because it has no solution!

The difference is between saying that I can't solve it (which is not true) and saying that no one can solve it (which is true).

It isn't clear why you posted the problem (or many others before this one).

Since the video itself gives a solution, it can't be that you want to know the answer; that's why I only commented on the answer, imagining that perhaps you were unsure of the implications of the answer. Are you just offering us fun challenges, or do you want help finding alternative solutions, or what?

If you would tell us your own thoughts, it would fit much better with the point of this site.

Mainly I am looking for alternative and better explanation. But you can also take them as challenges?.

It would be really helpful if you would follow our guidelines and tell us your own thinking, rather than post something and just ask if we can do it. We're not really here for mere challenges (except in the Odds and Ends category, where we expect that).

For example, if there is something about the method in the video that you didn't understand, or thought could be improved, tell us that. (My own method was the same type of work, combining different pairs of equations, and therefore not necessarily better.)
