I have a few math problems that I cannot figure out. I'm in 7th grade. My name is Aislee, and I suck at math I have an F.
So here are the problems.

1.) What is 16 gallons per hour, converted to gallons per second?

2.) What is 3 pounds per box converted to ounces per box?

3.) A dog barks 20 times in 10 minutes.
a.) Write this as a unit rate in barks per minute.
b.) Convert the rate to barks per hour.

If you earn 7 dollars per week, how much do you earn per day?

If you earn 7 dollars per week, how much do you earn per day?

You would earn a dollar, because 7 dollars divided 7 days, equals 1.

Right, 7 days = 1 week. It is the same principle.

(7 dollars) / (1 week) * (1 week)/ (7 days) = (1 dollars)/(1 day) "one dollar each day"

Note, I wanted to cancel out the unit week to get day, so they must be opposite each other in the multiplication.



Now, 3600 seconds = 1 hour.

So (16 gallons) / (1 hour) * (1 hour)/(3600 seconds) = (? gallons)/(1 second) "? gallons each second"

16 ounces = 1 pound

( 3 pounds)/(1 box) * (16 ounces)/(1 pound) = (? ounces)/(1 box)
