The graph shows the variation with time of the distance of an object from a fixed point. Find the gradient of the graph. You should give your answer to 2 significant figures and include the symbols for the appropriate SI unit.

No sorry, I am new to this. I was more concerned with how to display the correct values etc in terms of the appropriate SI unit




Did you read "Read before posting??

Look up "slope of straight line".

gradient =

gradient = slope = rise/run

In this case "rise" has a unit of "m" and run has a unit of "s"

so rise/run has the unit of "m/s".
 
So the answer would be 4.2 ms ???????

No.....

How did you get 4.2? That is incorrect.

Moreover, the unit is incorrect.

Go back and read my previous response ..... carefully!!
