In a certain triangle the base is 3/4 of the height (h). What is the area of the triangle in terms of h?

So, A = 1/2bh. I can do 1/2(3/4)(h), but is it saying that it's not 3/4(h) but that it's 3/4 OF the height? Otherwise, wouldn't it just be (3h2)/4?

"Base is 3/4 of the height" means the base is 3/4 times h. So the area is (1/2)(b)(h)= (1/2)((3/4)h)(h).

(Do NOT write "h squared" as "h2". Write it as "h^2".)
