Do you mean that this is a geometric sequence with initial term 3 and common ratio 2? You really need to say that!

If so then you should know that the nth term, a_n, for the geometric sequence with initial term a₁ and common ratio r is a_n= a₁r^n-1. Calculate that with a₁= 3, r= 2 and n= 10.
