ABC is a three-digit number where A>0. The value of ABC is equal to the sum of the factorials of its three digits. What is the value of B?

How to approach this? I did not find any approach

This will have to be guess-and-check. I would start by listing the factorials of the possible digits, which will reveal the highest digit you can allow. Then you can narrow down the first digit and the greatest digit, and then just look for sums of the factorials that are in the right range. It doesn't take long to find an answer.

But this has nothing to do with "P&C". Why do you think it does?
