Equation of a Graph and Transformation

I'm trying to make my red graph, y=f(x), follow the blue line. The red graph should have a domain of (-∞,∞). Then, I have to find y=|f(3x)|. If anyone can tell me how to edit my equation to make the red graph do a sharp turn at (3,0) I would appreciate the help (this is my first post on this website).

I'd like to see the exact wording of the assignment. I suspect you may be misinterpreting it.

At the least, we need to know what sort of equation you are allowed to write, if any is really needed at all.

But one way to write a formula for this would be to write it in piecewise form. You might want to do that first, which isn't hard. Then you could write a formula involving absolute values, if that's what you were told to do. It would have the form [imath]y=a\left|x\right|+b\left|x-3\right|+cx+d[/imath].
