So this is correct, however, I am not sure the way I solved it is okay. I think it's correct, but more deduction than math. Is this acceptablep? Is there another way? IMG_20220505_141358.jpg

Looks like mathematics to me. Do you not think that logical deduction is part of math?

What you did is just what I would do; there's just one small point I would make explicitly to clarify the work. (That has to do with 45 degrees.)

Oh right, since 45 degrees would not have anything to cancel it, it relies on the fact that it is itself equal to 1.
