The reaction between reactant \(\displaystyle \text{A}\) (blue spheres) and reactant \(\displaystyle \text{B}\) (red spheres) is shown in the following diagram:

reaction.png

Based on this diagram, which equation best describes the reaction?

\(\displaystyle \bold{(a)} \ \text{A}_2 + \text{B} \rightarrow \text{A}_2\text{B}\)
\(\displaystyle \bold{(b)} \ \text{A}_2 + 4\text{B} \rightarrow 2\text{AB}_2\)
\(\displaystyle \bold{(c)} \ 2\text{A} + \text{B}_4 \rightarrow 2\text{AB}_2\)
\(\displaystyle \bold{(d)} \ \text{A} + \text{B}_2 \rightarrow \text{AB}_2\)

@khansaheb

I am not an expert in Chemistry, but my intuition tells me that the answer is \(\displaystyle \bold{(a)}\). I could be wrong!

Your answer is correct but why have you started posting all these irrelevant (in |a Maths forum) topics again?

Is it just to build up your "status"?

Your obvious expertise (in some Maths topics) could be really useful if you just behaved like any other (helpful) member). πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

You do realize that, if a moderator ever does come back, you are likely to get banned and then you will have to come back under a new guise and begin all over again! 😊

To force the owners to take an action!

Is it just to build up your "status"?
Maybe, but not so important!

Do you mean that I am very good in geometry so that I can solve triangles without calculators? But I will not be unique if I behave like any other member!

The most frequent moderators who came around in the last three years are dead! So I don't expect any others to come around soon unless Dan decided to drive to New Jersey to visit Ted's home and discuss the matter! FYI, they wouldn't delete my threads if they realized that they are so educational!

😒

Not likely to have much, if any, effect, especially if, as you suggest, most of the moderators are no longer able to come back and, for all we know, the owner may be gone from this vale of tears too! πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
Who knows! A very quick fix might happen in no time and from no where. I wish that robot, \(\displaystyle \text{Mark}\), is still alive. He was funny.

So what is so important?
Practise, practise, and practise!

I studied Maths, Physics & Chemistry in HS and first year at university (before switching to Engineering) so I simply knew your answer was correct.
So you are an engineer😍welcome to the club Sir @The Highlander

Mr. Eng. you know how to answer the Chemistry but you cannot explain your answer like you did in Geometry and Trigonometry. I am so confused!
