Okay I need to figure out how 2 over y squared minus 3y plus 2 plus 5 over y squared minus 1 well I need a step by step help because I have a final today and this is the only problem I haven't really been able to figure out. I have a couple others would you please help me so I can be ready?

Okay for this problem I have tried adding across even though I know it's not right. I have tried looking the steps or an example up in my book and it has completely confused me even more!

I'm sorry, but you have not posted a complete sentence. You say that you need to figure out "how (2/y2) - 3y + 2 + (5/y2) - 1"... does, or is, or simplifies to, or has a domain of, or equals... what?

Please reply with the full and exact text of the exercise, the complete instructions, and a clear listing of what you have tried so far. Thank you.

Eliz.
