1)
A potato soaked up 30% of cooking oil, after a day of sitting dry it had 35liters of 20% of cooking oil left how much of 55% of cooking oil must be added to get 35liters of 20% of oil for the desired considerations?
So do I set it up like this
.30 = 35 and then solve for how much 55% is?
x .20
the answer would be 583.33Liters not sure if i did it right.
2)
A gentleman pays for his monthly phone billd $1200 plus .60 per extra minute.
Write equation for P(x) p=phone bill x=extra
P(x)=
So do I just 1200 x .60 to get the answer?
Or maybe its .60x + 1200=P(x)
It would be 720 right?
Well sorry for my bad English i humbly apologist.
Also if you cant help me dont worry about it.
