Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I'm trying to follow an example of IIR filter design using the Bilinear Transform method. I am fine with the whole process except for one part, which I feel should be relatively easy in comparison.....

Multiplying through by the factors in the denominator of Eq. (6-110), and collecting like powers of z.....
Equation 6-111
Could someone please explain the process of how I would get from Eq. 6-110 to Eq. 6-111? Or suggest what I need to look in to in order to understand it. I've worked some of it ok but I clearly don't understand the whole process. I'm particularly confused by the z-2.
