A swimming bath has vertical sides and the floor slopes uniformly so that, when the bath is full, the water is 1 m deep at the shallow end and 4 m deep at the other end. If the bath is 25 m long and 12 m wide, calculate the volume of water in the bath when it is full.
 
If you have a side view you will see a trapezoid. The area of that trapezoid multiplied by the width of the pool will give you the volume of the pool.
