for a triangle with following coordinates (X,Y):
(5/16 , 21/4),(3/8 , 8),(7/16 , 45/4)
can the surface be expressed as a fraction or a product of a fraction and a root of a number or fraction?
thanks for your time!

The area \(A\) of a triangle formed by 3 points in the plane is given by:

[MATH]A=\frac{1}{2}\left|(x_3-x_1)(y_2-y_1)-(x_2-x_1)(y_3-y_1) \right|[/MATH]
Based on this, what would you say?
