Three circles are touching each other such as they have area in between. The radius of the circle with center A is 38. The radius of the circle with center B is 20. And the radius of the circle with center C is 31. What is the angle from B to A to C (i.e. angle ABC)?
 
Looks to me like you should draw a sketch. Draw lines from each circle's center to the other centers. You have a triangle. You can easily figure out the length of each side. Then use the law of cosines to determine the measure of angle B.
