confused about wording

We've been working with simplifying expressions of sine/cosine and verifying identities in my trig class lately, but I have this problem in my homework that says:

Rewrite as a function of a alone: cos((3pi/2)-a)

I'm not sure what that's asking for.
 
Have you considered the periodic nature of the cosine function?

Perhaps the usual expansion would be beneficial cos(a-b) = cos(a)cos(b)+sin(a)sin(b)

Where does that lead you?
