The range of a projectile that is launched with an initial velocity v at an angle of theta with the horizon is given by R=v2/g sin2theta, where g is the acceleration due to gravity or 9.8 m/2.
1. if a projectile is launched with an initial velocity of 25 m/s what angle is required to reach a range of 30 meters?

Is this homework? What have you been studying lately?

There is more than one method, to answer this exercise. For example, there is a graphical method.

(This exercise may have more than one solution, too.)

Anyways, what have you done so far? That is, what have you tried, and where are you stuck?

Cheers
