i sort of started learning trigonometry ...

i have few basic questions ...

in f(x) = sin x ...

what is the x , after the sin ?

is it the representation of angle in theta ?

Yes...[in other words sin(x) is equivalent to sin(Θ)]

thanks ...

is there any tutorials or sites , where i can study a little bit more about a little bit more complex trigonometric functions ? by that i don't mean extremely complex trigonometric functions ...

i dont how to make progress in this trigonometric feild ...

Are you familiar at all with function notation? If so, then the "x" in "f(x) = sin(x)" is the independent variable (in this case, an angle measure), just like the "x" in "f(x) = x2" is the independent variable. The "f(x)" is the same as "y". ;)

i just learned some time ago that ,

y = sin x , is same as

f(x) = sin x ...

and i am sort of comfortable too , with all these notations representing functions ...

do you know where i should be looking for more examples of trigonometric functions ... ?

Try your local library or maybe try Googling for "trigonometry lessons" or "trigonometry tutorials".

Good luck! ;)
