y<x (line underneath the alligator)
y> x-2

do I have to add x to each side and get 2y>x?? Let me know if that's right or wrong, thanks! Also for this one:

0<x-4<3

would I have to add 4 to get 0<x<7? Let me know if thats right or wrong too! Thanks so much!

What are your instructions? It can be rewirtten, if you like. x-2 < y <= x

Generally, graph this y = x, then graph this, y = x - 2. Decide whether to include the lines. Check a point in each defined region and see what works.

Nice try, but that +4 must go EVERYWHERE. 4 < x < 7 However, I still don't know the actual problem statement.
