Just need to check to see if I am understanding this problem, ?=2sin(?/2 t+ ?/4). Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the 2 should be the Amplitude and pie over 2 is the length of the wave, and pie over 4 is the phase shift to the left. So instead of the wave going from (0,0) through pie over 2, my graph of the wave is from -pie over 4 to pie over 4. Am I anywhere close on this one?

Not quite:

Period: \(\displaystyle \frac{2\pi}{\frac{\pi}{2}}\)

Phase Shift is a little trickier. \(\displaystyle \left(\frac{\pi}{2}\cdot t + \frac{\pi}{4}\right) = \frac{\pi}{2}\cdot \left(t + \frac{1}{2}\right)\) NOW you can see the phase shift.
