how do I do x + 2x^2 over x+2

What is needing to be "done"? (No instructions were included, and the subject line makes reference to "radicals", which are not in evidence.)

When you reply with the instructions, please also use grouping symbols to clarify the expression. I think you mean "(x + 2x²) / (x + 2)", but I could be wrong. And please include all of the steps you have tried thus far, so the tutors can see where you're stuck.
