Hi i know this may sound like an extremely easy question but ill ask anyway. Me and my house mate have a share house which we also split all our bills 50/50. This recent electricity bill was $320. Because its been summer and i've had my aircondition on i said to him well i feel bad so how i estimated that the aircon used an extra $40 worth. so i said to him well how about i pay that $40 and we split the rest
(320-40=280/2 = He pays 140 and i pay 180. He said to me well no because then hes only paying 20 dollars less that his original 160 (if we were to split it by 50%). So basically hes saying that he should pay 120 and i should pay 200. Can someone please shed some light on this so either way we can work this out. Thanks
