Help w/ 6y - (- y + 3), x 3 - 2, and - (x 2 + 5x)

I need help someone please

1. 6y - (- y + 3)

2. x 3 - 2 (The 3 is above the x)

3. - (x 2 + 5x) (The 2 is above the x)

Are you supposed to simplify these? What have you done so far? Some hints:
1. Get rid of the brackets by multiplying through by the negative sign (it acts as -1).
2. Factor it? Well, you could always use the difference of cubes ... : \(\displaystyle a^{3} - b^{3} = (a-b)(a^{2} + ab + b^{2}\)
3. What's the common element in both terms in the brackets? Factor it out.
