How to simplify this trig equation: 2cosx(1+cosx)=1-(3^(1/2))sin2x

Hello!

I can't seem to find a way to simplify the following equation:

2cosx(1+cosx)=1-(3^(1/2))sin2x

The idea is to get something like a*sinx+b*cosx=c in the end.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
