Hi,
I'm trying to identify the function of a curve which transforms in a particular way when I increase/decrease one of the values in its equation.
At one extreme, the curve resembles a y=1/x graph, with a steep negative gradient, and then flattening out.
as one of the terms is modified, the curve should straighten out and then invert, mirroring such that it starts with a flat, shallow negative gradient that becomes steep.

Appologies for my clumsy description - been a long time since year twelve trig :/
Any help describing this function mathematically would be hugely appreciated!
many thanks in advance!
