Use a table to investigate the limit of (1+ x)^(1/x) as x tends to 0.

To form my table, I place the value x is approaching in the center and then select values to the right and left that are close to 0.

Yes?

What values close to zero can I select to evaluate the given function?

Surely there were similar examples in your book which showed you how to do this.

Try -0.01, -0.001, -0.0001 and their positive counterparts in an ascending order.
