I am struggling with this math . can u give some ray of hope/hint


a line AB is divided at P , so that AB.BP=AP^2
BC is drawn at right angle to AC , to meet AB produced at Q .

Prove BP=BQ

Just to expound on Denis's point:

Straight line BC meets straight line AB at B (common point)

then you say "BC is drawn .... to meet AB produced at Q"

BC cannot meet AB twice- unless those are the same line!!
