Need confirmation please

For a given point (6,-7), find the coordinates of the image of the given point after a translation 4 to the right and 2 down.

I made a graph with an x and y axis. Marked the given point, and counted 4 to the right and 2 down to end at coordinate (10,-9). Would this be correct? It just sounds too easy...
