What do you mean by "one step of an equation"? If you mean "the final result in calculating the solution to an equation", then, yes, the "final solution" is "no solution".

yeah what i typed is basically what the paper he gave to us said word for word i am not leaving anything out his take home assignments are insane. I emailed him and he said to do the best you can but I dont remmber doing anything like it in class but he assigns it to us anyway AHHHHHH!
