Hey guys and girls!
I need some help with a problem i stumbled upon.
The costs of my products are normal distributed.
Let’s say for example: 20% of my products cost under 20$, 50% are between 20$ and 50$ and so on.
For further calculation i do have the total sum/cost of all products available. (which i sold)
Now i would like to infer the portion of money coming from <20$ products. (not using my available dataset, instead using my normal distribution)
Is there some way i can calculate or at least approximate this?
Kind regards
