I am totally lost on how to solve this multiple choice question. I don't know how to start it.

What is the calculated value for the expected number of non-binary folks on a six-member jury randomly chosen from 4 non-binary folks and 11 other people identifying as men/women

I would not call this a multiple choice problem. It is a problem. The choices do not help you get the answer. You solve the problem and then circle your answer.

Now where are you stuck solving this problem. You clearly stated that you do not know where to start. Can you at least state what is being asked and what is given?

Suppose you have 15 cards, 4 marked N and 11 marked B. If you randomly choose 6 cards, what is the probability that 0 of them are N? Repeat for each possible number of Ns chosen.

Then use the definition you were given for expected value.
