i was given this question and i really do not know how to solve them. your kind input here will be highly appreciated.


question: find the value of pi in the following;

sin pi=cos(pi + 40)

sin(80 - pi)

pi is always the same value. One does not need to find it's value.

Okay, let's assume pi is some angle. However, to avoid confusion, let's use theta, instead.

We are tasked with \(\displaystyle \sin(\theta) = \cos(\theta + 40\;deg)\)

Expand the cosine side and give it a go.

Maybe there shoudl be a fraction in there, somewhere.
