We have a group of 27 people:

PetsOwners

19
28
36
We choose 1 person from the group. What are the odds that the person owns 3 pets if we know that the person owns at least 1 pet?

Please post any work that you've tried thus far. If you have not started, what are your thoughts about this exercise?

You are given that the person has at least 1 pet. How many of these owners have at least 1 pet. Of those, how many have 3 pets? What do you do with those numbers?

23 of them have at least one pet. 6 of them have three pets.

Suppose you had all 23 pet owners who had at least one pet in front of you right now . If you picked one of them what would be the chance that they would own 3 pets?
