How do i solve the problem:

How much Water must be evaporated from a 300L tank of a 2% salt solution to obtain a 5% solution?

Think about how much water there is. If there is 2% salt, then there is 98% water. See?.

Let x=the amount of water evaporated.

\(\displaystyle \L\\0.98(300)-x=0.95(300-x)\)
