Hello,

I think I am very close in solving a trig. equation but I need some help in this one little step...

I need to show that the left side of the equation, 1/2 + square root of 3, is equal to the right side, 1 / square root of 3/2

In other words, what steps do I need to take to get the left side looking exactly like the right side? (I need to keep the exact values)

Thanks.

Uh oh!

The two sides are not equal.

\(\displaystyle \frac{1}{2} \;+\; \sqrt{3} \; \approx \; 2.2321\)

\(\displaystyle \frac{1}{\sqrt{3/2}} \; \approx \; 0.8165\)
