if my printer will print 30 books per minute, how long will it take to print 1546 books?

We will do a similar problem.

You can make 2 sandwiches in 5 minutes. How long would it take you to make 134 sandwiches?

Let

The time to make 134 sandwiches = T minutes

Then

\(\displaystyle \dfrac{2}{5} \ = \ \dfrac{134}{T}\)

\(\displaystyle T \ = \ \dfrac{134 * 5}{2} = \ 335 = 5 hrs. 35 min.\)

Follow the same route.....
