Hi everyone, I'm a college student and our instructor asked to find volume using integration.
Here is the problem:
1. Find the volumed formed by revolving the ellipse x^2/a^2 + y^2/b^2 =1 about the line y=b.
The answer for this problem is 2pi^2ab^2 but what im getting is 2/3 pi^2ab^2.
I've included my solution here, can anyone tell me where i went wrong? Thank you very much for those who will answer.
