when the domain is restricted to -10 to 10 and the graph y=16sec((pi * x)/36))-32 is at height -6 there are 2 points. what is the distance between those 2 points and how?

It's much easier to solve if you have a plan. Let's hear yours.

This will be particularly fun, since your function doesn't actually get to y = -6 in that Domain.

Nobody can graph that equation because it contains a syntax error; you have two open parentheses but three closing parentheses.
