What are you trying to accomplish? It's easy enough to evaluate the right-hand side, and then take the inverse tangent to find x. Your mention of an identity suggests that you may expect to be able to find an exact value. Is there a reason to expect that?

And am I right that you think this is related to your triangle problem?

These threads ought to be merged, at least into two if not one.

Using your calculator in degree mode type in (sin(18))^2/(sin(48)+sin(18)cos(18))
That will give you the right hand side.

Your title is trig identity. This clearly is not an identity. The right hand side is a constant while the left hand side can take on all real values!

Why do you think it can be simplified, rather than just evaluated as a decimal number?

When you say "corner", do you mean "angle"? Do you mean you have a reason to expect to find an exact angle? I get tg(x) = 0.21255656 so x = 12 degrees; that does suggest it can be simplified. I don't yet see a way to do that, but given that the answer is 12, you might try expressing everything in terms of 12.

And please say clearly whether this is intended to be related to your other question, which uses the same angles. That makes me very curious.
 
Here I got it in the end and I could not simplify it. I wonder how to simplify the right side. I do not want to get an answer with a calculator. I am wondering how to solve it

The answer is correct 12 degrees. But how did I get it? The solution is I wonder how we got 12 degrees. I reduced everything to 12 but to no avail.
