Hi, can anyone help me on what to write for these questions?
i) Evaluate the manual process of creating a table of values for this real life problem?
ii) Evaluate the use of technology to model this real life problem?
iii) Compare the use of the trapezoidal rule and the calculus method in determining the area under a curve
iv) Explain the reasonableness of your solutions provided by the methods used in this problem considering the assumptions made and their potential impact.
These are all 'thinking questions' related to my assessment which involves a parabola made from a necklace chain in which we found the equation (of best fit) and had to find the area under the curve. It also involves finding the area between two curves as seen in the image that should be attached. I don't really know how to evaluate/compare mathematical methods?
